A Blue Earth man has been arrested for alleged mail theft and fraud.
According to the Blue Earth Police Department, residents in Faribault County and Clear Lake, Iowa had previously reported incidents of mail being stolen from their mailboxes.
The Blue Earth Polce Department assisted by the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Wells Police Department and the Clear Lake Police Department executed a search warrant on Friday morning at a Blue Earth residence and arrested Jeremy James Shoemaker.
Area residents are asked to report any mail theft to you local law enforcement agency and to reference in the report that it may be linked to the Blue Earth Police Department’s investigation.
