The Blue Earth City Council met for the first time in 2025 and as usual at the first meeting of the year was the approval of the appointments for Boards, Commissions and Standing Committees, all of which remained the same as last year.
The Council also unanimously passed the South Central Investigation Unit Joint Powers agreement, appointed CarlsonSV as Auditor, First Bank Blue Earth as official Depository and the Faribault County Register as the official newspaper for publication.
Andrew Willner was appointed Assistant Fire Chief for another two year term and Jeff Eckles will serve as Lieutenant for two years.
The Blue Earth City Council will meet again on Tuesday, January 21st at 5pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
