A Blue Earth man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Paynesville on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 3:49pm on Saturday, a 2007 Honda Accord driven by 22 year old Khue Xiong of Brooklyn, MN, was going south on Lake Avenue as a 2011 Chevy Impala, driven by 33 year old Michael Allen Porter of Blue Earth was headed north on Highway 55 and the two cars collided at the intersection.
Porter was transported to Paynesville Hospital for non life threatening injuries, according to the report. His passenger, 7 year old Pruitt Douglasroy Porter and Xiong, weren’t injured in the crash.
All three people involved were wearing seatbelts.
The Paynesville Fire Department and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
