A Fairmont man is facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop Monday evening in Spirit Lake.
According to the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, 42 year old Juan Rodriguez was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for speeding around 9:30pm. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, the deputy found multiple bags of marijuana totaling more than 100 grams, five small bags of methamphetamine totaling more than 11 grams and several small containers and baggies with the residue of a white substance, drug paraphernalia and $335 in cash.
Rodriguez was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, a class B felony, a controlled substance violation, a class D felony, two drug tax stamp violations, both class D felonies and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodriguez was being held in the Dickinson County Jail on $40,000 bond.
