Tuesday Election Results From Faribault and Martin County Races

Gertrude Paschke will be the new commissioner in Faribault County’s 1st District come January beating incumbent John Roper in Tuesday’s election. Paschke received 865 votes compared to Roper’s 513.

Martin County had three contested races for Commissioner seats. In District 1, Kevin Kristenson was the winner with 1,186 votes over Micheal Anderson who collected 754 votes.

District 3 had Joe Loughmiller facing Micheal Schutz, Loughmiller claimed victory with 65 percent of the votes, with Schutz getting 34 percent.  

The District 5 battle in Martin County was the closest with Billeye Rabbe winning with 1,148 votes and opponent Tyler Ask receiving 912 votes.
