Two Juveniles Taken to UHD Following House Fire in Blue Earth on Wednesday

The Blue Earth Fire Department responded to a house fire early Wednesday Evening.

At approximately 5:50pm, the Blue Earth Fire Department received a call of a fire at 229 West 6^th Street.  Two juveniles were transported to UHD with minor injuries.  The damage to the home was contained to one room.  The Fire Department remained at the scene for about 90 minutes.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time and the State Fire Marshall is assisting with the investigation.

The Blue Earth Police Department, UHD Ambulance and Faribault County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
