Two candidates for congress were endorsed over the weekend to represent Minnesota’s First Congressional District.
Republicans are endorsing Congressman Brad Finstad for re-election.
Finstad was elected to congress in a special election in 2022. He’s from New Ulm and previously served as State Director for the USDA and three terms in the state legislature.
The Minnesota DFL says it’s endorsing Rachel Bohman for Congress in southern Minnesota.
Bohman is a former Assistant County Attorney and former Rochester township board member. She grew up in Rochester.
Election primaries are in August with the general election in November.
