Minnesota Health Officials reported Monday 1,994 new cases of the coronavirus and 2 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,959 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,319 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 544,046 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 518,658 people no longer need to self isolate.
