Minnesota health officials reported on Friday 1,058 new cases of the coronavirus and 19 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,392 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,011 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 471,851 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 457,359 people no longer need to self isolate.
