Minnesota health officials reported on Friday 1,525 new cases of the coronavirus and 21 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,032 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,836 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 452,268 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 434,515 people no longer need to self isolate.
