Excess Items from Old Blue Earth City Hall to be Auctioned on Tuesday, February 7th

The Blue Earth City Council met on Monday and made a decision on what to do with excess property from the old City Hall that wasn’t moved to the new location.

The city will be conducting an auction of those excess items on Tuesday, February 7th, from 9am to 4pm, at 125 West 6th Street.

An inventory will be created and made available, with no minimum bid amounts or incremental requirements.  Each item will have a bidding sheet with columns for bidder numbers, bid amounts and timestamps.  The highest bid at the close of the auction at 4:01pm will win the item.

Winners will be notified by 5pm, on Friday, February 7th, via email and phone.  All items must be hauled by the winning bidder and removed by 12pm on Friday, February 14th.  Items will be available for pick up starting Monday, February 10th, by arrangement.  All items are sold as is.

Notice of the auction will be published in the Faribault County Register, along with instructions on how to register for the auction and receive a bidder number.
