Greenfield Global is looking to sell it’s ethanol plant in Winnebago.
That’s according to a report in the trade publication Ethanol Producer Magazine.
Canada based Greenfield Global purchased the former Corn Plus plant in Winnebago in the fall of 2020 and resumed operations in 2021.
According to the report, the company is accepting bids for the plant through next Monday. It says the company may also decide to hold an auction for the plant, which would be held on January 29th.
The plant originally went online in 1994 and employs 48 people.
