A Good Thunder man and his female passenger were injured when a car and a Blue Earth County Dump Truck crashed at an intersection between Mapleton and Good Thunder Tuesday Afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 27 year old Austin Michael Masso was driving a 2002 Oldsmobile Aero north on 550th Avenue at 1:15pm, when the car and a 2019 Freightliner that was eastbound on 132nd Street, crashed at the road’s intersection.
Masso and his passenger, 26 year old Chelesia Lynn Armendariz, were treated for non life threatening injuries at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
The truck’s driver, 33 year old Lance Michael Oachs of Lake Crystal, was not injured.
Assisting at the scene was the Mapleton Police Department, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Department, Mayo Ambulance and the Good Thunder Fire Department.
