BEA Launches Referendum Information Website

On November 5th, Blue Earth Area School District voters will be asked to consider a $66.845 million bond to build a new PreK – 6th grade elementary school and complete needed updates at the high school.

Last week, the Blue Earth Area School District launched their referendum information website.

Superintendent Mandy Fletcher says the goal from now until November 5th is to ensure that every avenue possible is utilized to reach as many District residents as possible to ensure they have accurate information about the referendum to make a sound decision when they got to the polls

Fletcher says the link to the referendum information is on the district’s website at beaschools.org.  The district will also be holding informational meetings in the coming months.

District residents going to the site will be able to access information on the proposed plan, a tax calculator to show the tax impact and the AG2School Tax Credit Program for those with agricultural land.
