Faribault County Officials Encourage Residents with Damage From June Rains to Share Damage With the County

The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office and emergency management is assisting the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management in collecting information on property damage.

Faribault County’s emergency management encourage individuals with damage from heavy rains dating back to June 16th, to share their damage estimates with the county as they work to get assistance for individuals from the state.

Residents can request the link from Sue Jahnke by emailing [email protected] or call 526-4879 for more information.

Once you submit the form, a representative from FEMA and/or MN HSEM will contact you.

Officials say FEMA and or MN HSEM will not ask for money or additional personal information.  This is not a guarantee of assistance, but a mechanism for collecting information to determine if criteria is met for possible assistance.
