Over the last two weeks there has been some vandalism at the Blue Earth dog park.
The first incident occurred sometime the night of Tuesday, May 7th, which caused the gate to be locked from May 8th to the 13th. Then again sometime on the night of the 14th, more vandalism occurred and that caused the city to lock the gate again through the 20th. The damage caused was to the entrance gate and sign in both instances.
The matter was brought up at the City Council meeting on Monday night and the council has agreed to have the police department set up some cameras at the park to help prevent these incidents from happening again.
