Minnesota health officials reported on Monday 1,197 new cases of the coronavirus and no new deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,079 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,353 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 569,440 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year.
